This year we launched a Father’s Day bespoke cufflinks competition. To enter, children had to submit a sketch of a personalised design, that represented their Dad.
As manufacturers, we can take any drawing and turn it into a special piece of jewellery. In this case, the lucky winner would see the idea transformed into a pair of cufflinks. Inspired by the designs that were submitted, we selected 3 deserving winners. This is the story about our third winner.
Our third winner Kiera, aged 13, drew the most wonderful design for her father. When we asked Kiera what inspired her design she said:
“I entered this competition as my Dad has 4 children and due to the lockdown he hasn’t been able to see much of us because he is busy as he works for the NHS and we want him to know that we love him”
What a wonderful message behind an amazing design. We want to thank both Kiera for her design and Keira’s father for all his work with the NHS.
It’s rewarding for the Deakin & Francis team to be able to take a drawing from a child and engrave this onto a pair of sterling silver cufflinks, as a lasting memory.
This is the ultimate gift – one of a kind – and not available on the high street or online.
